PopQuizzical Daily! for June 20, 2012:

What state was recently turned down by DC Comics for permission to use a license plate that stated “Birthplace of Superman”?
(Answer in tomorrow’s PopQuizzical Daily!)
Yesterday's PopQuizzical Daily! answer:
Australia.
Maria Ann Smith planted a seed in Australia in 1868 and it came up as a ‘Granny Smith’ apple tree (turns out that if you want an exact duplicate of an apple tree, you have to use a graft, not a seed).  Personally, I always knew that Granny Smith came from convict island.  Just look at her and that criminally sloped forehead.
