Rice, reintroduced as “puffed rice”.
The puffed rice stand may not have said “Snap, Crackle and Pop” right on it, but that’s definitely how today’s kids (and some adults) will recognize it.  Imagine what the American diet would consist of if those puffed rice stand guys at the World’s Fair had marshmallow creme back then.  We would come out of the womb diabetic.
