Arthur Wellesley, or the first Duke of Wellington.

Legend has it that the dish beef Wellington is named after the Duke as a tribute for defeating Napoleon at Waterloo. Obviously not an urban legend, due to the lack of “urban” in the 1815 kingdom of the Netherlands. Plenty of wooden shoes, though.

Beef Wellington, ready for my belly-ington. Yeah, stop your grumbling. Like there’s a wealth of Beef Wellington jokes.
