In only the second year of existence, the Academy Awards were visually recorded for posterity.  And since it was 1930, it only had 2 hours of commercials.

Indeed ladies, now you too can have an Oscar! (Note: “Oscar for Women” is made from authentic Mexican chocolate. Men’s version made from steel wool and mountain oysters.)
