One dollar.

When you win an Oscar (at least nowadays), you have to sign a contact stating that The Academy has the first shot to buy back any Oscar up for sale.  Not only do they have first refusal, but the price for the Academy to buy back the golden statue will be $1.  The estimation is that it costs about $400 to make an Oscar, so the Academy is really ripping you off.  So make sure you lick it before you give it to them.  That’ll show ’em.

Oh come on – you know he totally licked his Oscar.  Wait a sec, that sounded really dirty.  Oh well.
