Earl Hindman played the wise and ususally-only-seen-from-the-eyes-up next door neighbor Wilson on the tv sitcom Home Improvement.  He was so beloved as Wilson, TV Land awarded him with the Favorite “Heard but Not Seen” Character in 2004.
