PopQuizzical Daily! for April 23, 2013:
From 2560 BC until 1311 AD, what was the tallest man made structure in the world?
The Library of Congress in the United States.
Not just housing books, the LIbrary of Congress encompasses four buildings – the most recent of which was built in 2007 and includes a movie theater with free bi-weekly screenings. Kinda makes my Netflix account seem dull by comparison, but on the upside it doesn’t cost me $600 million dollars a year. And I don’t have to wear pants in my home theater.
