President Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt.

So Teddy Roosevelt came up with the ad slogan “good to the last drop”?  Supposedly.  As the story goes, President Roosevelt had a cup of Maxwell House coffee in Nashville where, upon finishing it, said “Bully!  It’s good to the last drop!”.  It has been disputed that the phrase was written by an ad exec, but that’s not nearly a good story.  Sometimes truth needs to be “punched up” a little, huh?

Also good to the last drop? Water, but it has a horrible ad agency.
