Lloyd's of London.

“Are you telling me that Lloyd’s of London started off life as a coffee house?!”

Yup.  That’s exactly what I’m telling you.

Lloyd’s of London began as Lloyd’s Coffee House in 1689.  Hipsters didn’t start hanging out there until the early 1960s.

Lloyd’s Coffee House was established in 1689, and moved to a new location in 1691. Apple maps still can’t find directions.
