Garlic.

So, not all of the smartest Greeks were full of good ideas.  Hippocrates was convinced that garlic would curtail constipation.  He’s quoted as saying garlic is “a laxative and diuretic because of its purgative character”.  Something else that has a purgative character?  Diarrhea.  Your move, Hippo.

I’m not sure which one I see: a spread for my garlic toast or “Super Colon Blow”. Thanks Hippocrates. You jerk.
