The Bristled toothbrush dates back to 1498!  Those crafty Chinese took a bone and shoved coarse, thick hog’s neck hairs into it to create a toothtastic sensation.  This didn’t catch on in Europe, since horses were plentiful and their hair is not corse enough to use as bristles.  I would insert a joke about oral hygiene and certain parts of Europe, but I’m sure you’ve already thought of that.  Don’t worry England, we’re totally not thinking of you.  *Wink*

Can you imagine brushing this little guy’s teeth? Afterwards, your friends might be obliged to call you “Cap’n Hook”.
