When Vice President Dan Quayle incorrectly misspelled “potatoe” at a child’s spelling bee, he claimed it was faulty information on the card supplied to him from the school.  So it’s even worse than we thought: not only can he not independently spell potato, he’s a dummy too.  Fortunately, President Quayle didn’t happen, or else the U.S. would really look like Dumb and Dumber To.
