The Baltimore Colts.

The Baltimore (later Indianapolis) Colts drafted John Elway in the 1983 NFL Draft, but Elway did not want to play ball in Baltimore.  He negotiated his way into a trade with the Denver Broncos – and led them to five Super Bowls including two Super Bowl victories.  Elway was almost a baseball athlete as well – he was drafted twice – once by the Kansas City Royals in 1979 (right out of high school) and again in 1981 by the New York Yankees.  I’m winded just having written this paragraph – and Elway lived it.  Geez.

I knew old John Elway looked familiar…
